Interactivity

Click-throughs

Click-throughs are a great way to engage with your potential customers.


Ads can include up to three Click-throughs for user interactivity. Click-throughs can link to your website, emails or “pop up” an overlaying image at a specified coordinate.


Click-throughs must be a minimum size in order to react correctly to a tap. 


Since most readers will swipe on your ad to reach the next page in the magazine, we are unable to make your entire ad link to a website. It’s critically important to overtly suggest that the user interact with your ad if you desire them to visit a website by way of a Click-through. Merely placing a URL into your ad will not effectively communicate to users that interactivity is available; moreover, it’s important to remember that users tap on iPads, iPhones and other portable devices.

Video Specs



Video Advertising

Advertisers submitting video ads should include a background graphic or image against which the video will initially play. Videos are embedded directly within your ad and play on the page on the iPad, iPhone or iPod.


We advise that videos include an end frame that encourages the user to tap through to a URL.

AWM is a unique publication written for and by parents, carers, professionals and those on the autism spectrum, both adults and children.

A growing readership
The success of our iPad-based digital magazine aligns with core research on the community: the iPad is a unique communication tool that works with those on the spectrum. And with Apple selling approximately 8 million iPads per quarter, our digital magazine has already won over a significant readership within the autism community. As a result of this early success, Autism World launched the digital magazine to iPhones in mid 2013. In February 2014 we launched the magazine on Google Play for all 2600+ Android supported devices. We also provide a digital download PDF edition which works with all systems and devices.

Autism World Digital Magazine features both the advanced capabilities of mainstream digital magazines and the ability to custom-create rich, interactive elements for marketers. Full-screen, colourful ads permit inclusion of video, interactivity, hotspots and an extraordinary amount of attention from engaged readers. 

Advertising Functionality
All full page ads placed in Autism World iMagazine offer a rich experience in portrait orientation;
Each full page can include up to three interactive elements, inclusive of three “click-through” layers;
Full page ads can also include one video Web links are included and count as an interactive element.

Positioning
Ads can be full-page, half page or quarter page. Autism World Magazine  will attempt to comply with all requests for placement.

Premiere positioning is available for advertisers who commit to multi-issue insertions.

Cross media promotion
Ads are also promoted across our Facebook, twitter and online pages.

Advertisements must be submitted at by the 15th of the Month prior to issue launch.
